Celebrity Hotness (both mine...and anothers)
I believe I left out one very important fact about this last week. I briefly met Arielle Kebbel on set of "Brooklyn to Manhattan." She is sooooo hot! I really should just leave it at that. I think she probably has a boyfriend, and to be perfectly honest...I did make a very strong impression on her. It may not have made her say "forget my boyfriend, take me now," however. I had all the special effect makeup on (or at least part of it on when she would arrive to the makeup trailer) so she never got to see the awesome goodness that is my handsomeness. She did take notice of my coolness with the makeup. I think if she would have seen my wicked hotness...well, I would be writing something vastly different. She did take a picture of her and I on her camera phone. Oh yes...a celebrity has taken a picture of me. That part is important. Too bad that to her, my name is known as "Crispy." That is one more chapter in the celebrity life of yours truly

Secret Society of Lampboy
Well, a lot has happened to me that I can't talk about. Yes I know...sounds like a secret society. Which it is. Sort-of. I like to look at my life as a secret society. Only those priviledged few who go through my initiation process are included in the secrets that I hold. I'm not sure that's the exact metaphore about my life I'm looking for, but that's what appears to be coming out. To finish out the trifecta of what is my life, I can only offer you this. I life my life like it is an action-thriller-comedy mixed with bad 70's born. So, let us just say that my life is an action packed secret porn society. I'm beginning to think I should re-think this genre of lifestyles that I live. Hmm...
Seriously, I have been working on a number of films and television shows. Before you ask, it's nothing big. Mostly background, photo double, and stand-in work. I can't really talk publically about the details of the shows since producers and the like don't really like the secrets of their plots and such divuldged. I can say that I was in 5 hours of special effects makeup for one of the shows. If you are one of the lucky few in my society...or you ask, I'll probably show you the picts. They're pretty grotesque.
Oh, I say Mamma Mia! on Broadway last week. Gotta love the music of ABBA. Good times. Here's hoping to one day see me on Broadway and the silver screen!
Um...stamps cost way too much when you buy lots and lots of them.
More to report this weekend, so until then I leave you with the above written words. Ponder them. Live them. Be them.

Post-Valentine's Day thoughts
I hope everyone had a fantastic Valentine's Day! She who would be my Valentine this year lives quite far away. So, just another normal evening in my eyes this year. Let's just move on to more interesting things, shall we. Oh, I was at least productive that day, mailing out a bunch of postcards with my picture on it and an update for agents and casting directors. Yeah for Valentine's Day?!
I'm pretty sure that I'm over winter. I mean, I love the snow and what have you, but not the wind and extreme cold that New York seems to have. If only I could be skiing or at a mountain cabin playing in the snow. Then maybe winter would be more enjoyable. I think what I need is the beach. A little beach time, maybe some watersking and boating, surfing, beach frisbee...that sounds about right. That, and my fake tan I got done for the modeling gig last week is almost completely faded. So sad, I look hot when I'm tan.
On another note, I still think my man-pecks are somewhat not symetrical. Not noticable to the naked eye of an observer, but I can see it. I must remedy this by lifting the weights. Weights will be lifted to fix my boob problem. hee...hee...I said boobs..........focus!
I lost all train of thought here, so I guess I'll just end. That's what heppens when my mind wanders. Okay then. Right. The end.

Colombian underwear recap
Okay, the lingerie show is over. I have to admit, it turned out to be unbelievably fun. Not that I thought otherwise, but I had a blast. And if I do say so myself, I looked damned good. I didn't have my camera, but some of the people I was working with did, and I'll see when I get any of the pictures if I want to share them. Here is the link to Testosterone Fashions. They are the company I was working for who has pictures of the two designers of underwear I was modeling (not me of course, their advertising models), and one of the girls lingerie lines. The girls swimsuits that were in our booth are on this site. I love the swimwear, it's great stuff. Most of these were from Colombian designers, except the QZ brand which is Danish. Pretty great stuff.
So...the Grammy's are tonight. Pretty sweet.
My new favorite country...Colombia.
I found out that things you learn in middle and high school, although buried very, very deep, are still there a few years later. Yep, my three years of Spanish paid off. Okay, not well, but I tried. At least I can say "Gracias," and "de nada," and "tu es muy bonita." That's about all you need. Oh, and "no comprendo" or "no entiendo." The last two make everything all better.
Well, that is a quick (and not very in-depth) reflection on my life. This past week week was one of the more interesting and enjoyable weeks I've had in a very long time. Gracias a mi nuevo amiga de Barranquilla.

Me...underwear...me in underwear...modeling
I don't want to make a big deal of this or anything, you know, let the word spread too far...but...I am standing around modeling underwear for the Lingerie Americas convention here in New York for a few days. Yeah that's right...it's me...it's underwear...it's me in my underwear. There aren't too many of us men modeling since it's primarily women't lingerie, so it's about the coolest job ever. It's not too often that I stand around in sexy underwear for multiple hours in a row. Oh, and by the way, I have a few stunningly beautiful Colombian girls modeling and working with me. That's all I am going to say. I will leave it at that. I really can't say anthing more than what has just been said. Really, let your mind wander. Let it really have fun with this one. That's pretty much what's happening. Okay, so if your mind wandered into an orgy or underwear-laden girls and me...well, that's just my fantasy and not the reality. Tone it down just a touch, and that's what's happening. On a serious note...man, who can be serious when I just said I am standing around modeling underwear. Really...that's all I got tonight...more on this after the convention is over. Yeah for underwear! Oh, and after the show, I'll make sure to get the links to the designers we were wearing.

The past weeks musings
I'm not going to go on and on about the Superbowl, but I will say this. I'm glad Chicago lost. They beat my boys, the Seahawks. I wish they would have put up a better fight and not let the Colts dominate so much, but all and all, it was an enjoyable game. And how much fun was it to see Prince at the half-time show. Pretty sweet. Diggin the whole phallic penis guitar trick with the white sheet. Awesome. That's all I will say.
I will make the obligitory comment on the weather as well. It is so f*#king cold out. Man is it winter!
I had the chance the other day to see Wicked on Broadway. What a sweet show. So cool. I of course am wishing I was dancing in it, but soon enough...soon enough. A friend got us great seats, like third or fourth row nearer the side, but closer than I ever get when I see Broadway shows. Everyone should check it out. It's been on my "must see" list forever (and by forever I mean since it opened).
On a different note, I've been working as a stand-in on the Sopranos lately. It's been great to work with that cast and crew. They are all so nice and I've really been learning a bunch on set. I hope to keep working with them for the rest of their shooting schedule. Oh, and I really suggest everyone watch their final season coming up. It should be great! That's all I can say.
I don't think really anything profound has come out here in this entry. I'm sorry for that. I guess you go through those periods of time. It happens. I can't be brilliant all the time. Well, I can, but sometimes it doesn't exactly show through to everyone. Well, unless you meet me I guess. I'm pretty awesome if you actually meet me. So, let us just say for argument sake, that since you are not actually in my presence (that is to say, seeing me in person), I may not come across as naturally amazing, even though the assumption is that I am.
Well, until next time, I'll sign off.
Oh, I'm pretty sure the episode of Law and Order: SVU I worked on a while back is finally airing this Tuesday, February 6th. It's on NBC at 10pm (9pm Central). Oh, the episode is called Loophole. I'm one of the haz-mat teams (in yellow). You probably won't see my face, but I'm there. It's not a big deal (more like featured background work), and I don't know what they'll even use of what we shot. Just thought I'd let people know in case.
