I just wanted to give you a quick update on things. Mostly, I don't feel like writing, but 8 days have gone by and I woud like to be somewhat consistent. So, the neck is feeling better from my waterski crash. That's good. Sent out some resumes and headshots, hoping for work this fall (please!). That was productive. Have not been in the gym, so the body is like the step below Adonis's right at the moment. Worked on a set of an upcoming television show a couple days ago. That was good, however I had to stand outside in the direct sun and heat in a black suit for most of the day. That was less fun. Saw the Mets win over the Dodgers last weekend. That was fun. Met Mr. Met's (the mascot). He's in a baseball uniform with a giant baseball head. How creative...! Come on Mets, you can do better than that. Although, I like supporting the New York teams (mostly the Yankees) since I can't really ever watch the Mariners, which is where my true heart lies.
That's all. Until next time, maybe some creative juices will flow a bit better and you will be entertained a little more.

Hobling back
I seem to have a travel hangover. You know, the kind that doesn't involve alcohol, but just a long night of traveling in the the next day. Yeah, the red-eye was taken to get me back from Seattle to New York. And what fun that was. I slept pretty much the entire time in the most uncomfortable positions you can imagine. But I did sleep. My welcome party was somehow non-existent, the only welcom I had was a chilly breeze (for real, this is summer... come on!), and rain. Plus a long wait in baggage claim and a long taxi line. Sweet! But I made it, returned some emails, and am trying to recover. I'll sleep well tonight at least.
Let me also boast a little bit about my last day. I believe I already mentioned the beautiful singing from my sister and our friend David, as well as his concert that evening. Let us move on to the next day. 5:30am, mom and Kathryn leave for Texas. I of course wake up to say goodbye. Immediately I go back to sleep. 10am, pancake breakfast with dad (homemade of course... we rock!). Rainy and foggy, the fog lifts, we see on a Lake Washington webcam that it is glass flat. Oh yes, we took the boat out. Not cold, but a little wet at times. Water seriously was so sweetly flat. I had one of the greatest runs in a long time, that is until I fell. Oh, I ate it big time! Dad said it was about 7-8 out of 10. Definately cartweeled over the water and slammed my head and neck into the water (slightly straining or at least injuring my head and neck). Worth it for those sweet cuts.
Yup, then a quick shower to meet Keving for golfing at Jackson. Rained a little bit, but we had a great time. Had a few nice drives a few good shots, two fantastic puts, and about 100 or so crappy shots. But, we had fun. I exaggerate my badness, I'm not great, but not too sucky. Sucky enough to not be too good, though.
Ending with a little Spiro's Pizza action, where it never fails that I will see someone I know, most likely from high school. Then the plane ride, thus ending my vacation.
Back to New York. Back to my career. Back to my apartment. Back to life I guess.
Oh, and pictures will be in the gallery in the next couple of days. Be ready for golf and waterskiing hotness, and just some other random sexy moments.

One last musical day
Congratulations to my sister and David Hendrix on a beautiful singing experience this morning and evening. The duet at church this morning was quite lovely, and my sister learned an important lesson about having your music organized in it's folder before the song starts. No lyrics were wrong, but she was fumbling a bit during the intro. A little stressfull... it happens.
And a big congratulations to David Hendrix for a fantastic concert tonight. He organized and conducted a full choir concert. Awesome, he should be so proud (as should his parents and brothers).
I hate to see this trip come to an end. It has been most eventful yet very relaxing at the same time. The new house is working out nicely (pictures to come), and getting out of the city has been great. Sadly, I will be returning to New York tomorrow night on the overnight flight (which I despise, but have to endure this time). It's sad, yet on the other hand, I'm really excited to get this fall started and hopefully get some great career opportunities. I say I'm ready for the fall, but I don't really want the summer to end. I love the hotness (not the humid and massive hottnes) and beach and all that the summer brings.
So, here's to one last day in the northwest until I return.

Home sweet home
Hello from Shoreline! Yes, I am writing to you from the great city of the shore. Twice have I waterskiied. Once have a golfed. Much have I eaten.
It has been quite the busy little time here. Busy, yet relaxing. We've taken our boat out twice, had some great water one of the days, and pretty darn decent the other. Weather has been great, sunny and warm. I have skied pretty darn hard and of course I rock.
Yesterday was the FOS-SEA Golf Tournament at Port Ludlow. Let us just say that my golf game is not going as well as I would have liked. There were a number of nice shots, but an equal or greater number of not-so-great shots. Not sure I want to divuldge my score, but in all fairness, 117 is pretty damn good for golfing approximately 3 times a year, a thank you very much. And, I must say that my brother beat me and is a better golfer. I don't admit much that I am not good at, and even less that my brother outranks me in, so here it is in writing.
Sorry to those who I know that live here. Things are pretty busy as it is that I am leaving on Monday. Next visit we will most definately get together. Pictures of my hotness on the golf course (I at least make the sport LOOK good) and in the boat will be posted later. And yes, some of them are shirtless (not the golf pictures), so be ready to swoon ladies.
TIme for a little bed. I am quite relaxed and exhauseted after a day full of boating, waterskiing, lunch at the Anthony's Beach Cafe (where my sister works) with friends, a massage (quite the painfull yet benificial experience... man am I tight), and home-made dinner (chicken tetrazini) with my sister's boyfriend and his dad. Plus we're getting up early for another trip down watersking lane (aka, waterskiing in the morning).

Greek-like Golfing Skills
Went to the driving range this morning to hit some balls. I have to say, I am TOTALLY PREPARED for the tournament on Thursday (please not sarcasm in capital letters). But, being that I'm awesome at everything in life, I will not admit to sucking, even though there's a very high possibility that suckage will happen. Now to pack for my trip to Seattle.
One more thing of note here. I am not going say anything definate, but there is some definate pre-abbage coming through. What is "pre-abbage" you might ask? Well, it is the state of abbs that comes before a six-pack. That's right, my six-pack abbocity is coming soon to a beach or shirtless occasion near you. If I keep up my yoga, gym work, and dance classes, soon I will be the equivilent of a Greek god. Please, hold your applause. Like I said before, it is not quite there yet, but approaching. This, of course, does not mean that before now I was not the equivilent of a Greek god like I may have mentioned in passing in the past. That was still true. Let's just say I am enhancing my Greek godliness, or switching to a more sexed up (i.e. physically ripped) god of Greek stature.
Okay, really, I have to get things together for my plane excursion this afternoon. For the next week I will write from Shoreline, WA. I have no doubt that something exhilerating will be waiting for me that you will want to hear. Until then, be good.

Summer fun with water...or not
So, as I faired the flooding from our rainstorm a couple days ago just fine here in my apartment, aparently my storage unit over by the West Side Highway did not. Yeah, got a call from the storage place saying I better come check if there was any damage. There was.
I spent the better part of yesterday taking pictures (will put a few here soon) and looking through my stuff to see what was ruined and what needed to be done (i.e. filling out insurance claim forms, throwing out stuff, etc.). I also moved to a second floor unit so this won't happen again... cross my fingers flood water can't reach the second floor. Things that got wet were in the boxes touching the floor, everything else was fine. However, two of my biggest and heaviest boxes were on the bottom (for obvious reasons... they're big and heavy) that contained stuff that was really unfortunate to lose or deal with.
35 books had to be thrown out, completely unusable and still wet. Adding that up, it totals $588 face value. Ouch! Some other little things got wet and I threw out, but nothing really valueable. But, all my winter coats were wet and gross and I had to take them all over to get dry cleaned. I'm just hoping they're all right, because a couple of them are very nice. That's $112! Yeah, Manhattan prices suck, although I don't really know how that compares to other places. I am crossing my fingers that the insurance I had from the storage place will see eye to eye with me here and reimburse me. Stupid rain!
Let's see. Going to visit home on Tuesday for a week. Definately excited to get away from the city and enjoy a little relaxation, golf, and waterskiing. Go see The Bourne Ultimatum. It rocks so hard it's not even funny. It's like a swift kick to the nuts, but in a good way. Actually, hard to believe I know, but it's actually more fun then a boot to the balls.

Beach wrongness
Okay, so a few of the headshots have been sent out. Cross you fingers for me! By "cross your fingers" I of course mean think nothing but well wishes for me, or at least not let me leave your mind at all... ever. That means, you should be constantly thinking of me, which is hard to do normally, I know, since I infuse your minde with my goodness. If you are up to the task, or already pursuing the task, then think away. Oh, and please in your thinking keep me partially clothed (and partially can mean whatever you like).
I was enjoying the second half of my Saturday after yoga at Coney Island. A little spur of the moment decision to take in some beach action. Let me just make this comment. Coney Island is the wrong beach to see a multitude of hot girls (or guys for that matter, let us just say hotness in general). I noticed three... count them, THREE girls worth noticing. (Notice the term "noticing" rather then staring at, oogling, underessing with my eyes). Furthermore, while I myself own a speedo, it should not be worn on the beach unless you are in some small beach in Europe, for example the French Riviera. A small comment on my bathing attire, which normally is board shorts, thank you very much, the speedo is only used in lap swim sessions at my gym. I was on a swim team, so no more should be said, except that it is not worn in public... and even if it was, I can totally pull it off, it's just that much less clothing that you have to undress me with when you look at me.
Moving on from that lovely topic, except I'm going to go back a step for just a moment. Speedo's are one thing, but when a dude is wearing one and it has a bikini-cut back (or similar, terminology is probably not correct on my part), it's just unfortunate for all parties involved.
Ending the evening, I took a nice barefoot (carefully, of course) run on the beach and generally relaxed for a while. Also enjoyed one of the famous Nathan's Hot Dogs, which I've never done before and I figured I better while I'm thinking of it. It's just one of those things you should do in life.
Two last things of importance. First, a short film I worked on a few weeks ago had a private showing at the New York Film Academy yesterday morning. It was a great little film, I was awesome, albeit brief (not underwear, move on from the previous part of the conversation). Secondly, I will be coming back to the great city of Shoreline, WA on Tuesday evening the 14th of August until the following Monday evening the 20th of August. Those in the area feel free to give me a ring. The only plans I have aside from relaxing and taking a quick break from the big city are that I will be taking our boat out and waterskiing a couple times, playing in the FOS-SEA Golf Tournament with my brother and dad, and seeing my sister sing at a choir concert. Other then that I will be kick'n it in our new house.
