Nutcracking Finuto!

Well, my four day vacation/work is over. I say vacation because I had the lovely chance to spend some time out of New York City in a real house and eat some real food while spending time with friends. My time in New Canaan was quite nice and I am thankful for the parents and girls who made it a great stay. The work part was of course my job to dance in the Nutcracker with the New England Academy of Dance. Now since I enjoy dancing so much it is also not so much work as it is fun!

I have to say that the Nutcracker went very well, and the five senior girls should feel proud of the work they accomplished. They all danced some tough roles and looked beautiful. Of course, everyone else involved should feel good about their dancing as well. And I have to thank them all for being very nice to me, I really do appreciate it. I hope I make it fun for them and can be not only a guest dancer but also a friend. I mean, when we really get down to it they are just lucky to be in my great presence. Well...really, anyone who meets me should feel honored.

I have to give a quick shout out to my mice and ginger cookies. You girls all rock! Also a quick 'sup' to the other guest dancers. Yes, Stick It will sadly be in my memory for a while. What a terribly idiotic yet funny movie. Why do we do these things?!

Tomorrow I will write a bit more about things. After a late night at the Nutcracker party last night, a devastatingly early morning for a photo shoot, performing this afternoon, and the train ride home, I'm a little bit tired.
