Couchtastic!

Oh yes people...(pics coming soon)...I have a couch! Plus...it was free! Now it is in my room making my small apartment a palace of sorts. Combine that with the lamp next to it and you have a whole living room of sorts. Big news! That is all I have the energy to report for the moment. Lots have happened, but I don't want to take away from the couch news. Now that the couchness of my room has been improved, ladies...please feel free to drop by. Peace out!...or shall I say...Couch out bro!

Father's Day Love

Happy Father's Day! I hope everybody showed some love to their dad's. Mine rocks, just so you know, and could totally take yours. But don't start anything here, since I don't want my dad calling me up telling me that some dude showed up at our doorstep ready to rumble with him on my account. That wouldn't go over so well...for everyone involved...mostly me. So again...Happy Father's Day Dad!

Such a Rad Idea

I am starting the beginning processes of bringing back a few words that have left everyday use for quite some time now. Oh yes, when you start hearing people use these words in everyday speech, you will be both shocked and excited, and you will know I have done something majorly sweet. The entire list of words I will be bringing back is not decided. Here is a quick preview of a few of them.

1. Rad (this one I have already implemented)
2. Righteous
3. Bodacious
4. Cowabunga (this one will take some work...thank you Ninja Turtles for making my life harder)
-this is a partial list only

That is a quick preview. Some are clearly harder than others, and none are particularly easy. Wish me luck on this. And remember, next time you are walking down the street and you hear some guy checking out some girl and he says to his bro, "Dude, check out that bodacious chick down the street. She's smokin hot!" and he replies "Righteous!" You will first obviously check out the girl , then you will think of me and how I have influenced the world you live in one more time. It is my little way of being close to everyone I know and don't know. Cowabunga!

A little previewed heads up

Just a heads up for people, I will be adding some photos to my gallery later this week. They will blow your mind, body, and soul. Mostly some pictures out on Lake Washington of me waterskiing and what not, but that's what you'll be getting. Thought I'd put that little preview out there. Other then that it's just generaly awesomeness. News worth noting...at least for those following the remodeling and general reshaping the world I live in...also known as my "apartment" (which always gets quotes by the way). Four items will be introduced into my pad. Two la-z-boy recliners (pending), a ladder so there is less of a trecherous climb into my bed (right now it consists of a sketchy chair, putting a leg onto the refrigerator, proceeding to carefully press on the bed while simultaniously shifting yourself so you can get a leg a little higher on an upper level of my shelving system pressing yourself up onto the bed while watching out that you don't hit the sprinkler and pipe - which hurts a bunch!...it's fantasmical). Oh, and finally a lamp. That's right, I'm getting some actual light into my place other than florescent! Whew, that was an amazingly confusing little posting. If you are confused by my "getting into bed" story, don't worry, maybe I'll post some pictures of that process, although that could be touch since I live alone and...well...it's probably just not a good idea. But, when my room is complete, pictures will come and you can then figure it all out for yourself.

And that's all she (he in this case, as there should be no gender confusion) wrote!

Wonder of Wonders

I'd like to send a quick thank you to *nobody* for showing up to my dance show last night. Actually, to be fair, I don't really mind. I was the one who's at fault here spreading the word of mouth the night before or day of. And, I just did the one piece (although I nailed it...of course).

Thanks to Mark for organizing it and for a great time dancing in the piece with me. Turned out to be a great show. And, after staying up way too late, I'm off to rock a photo shoot (assuming it doesn't rain) this afternoon. Maybe shouldn't have stayed up too late or drank that extra glass of wine. Hmm...I'm young...I'll bounce back...and be sexier than ever...!

I have other news and thoughts, but I'm not going to tell them to anyone. They are mine to keep and yours not to know. Well...that's a lie. And that's a lie about that being a lie. Ahh yes...how my mind works will always be a mystery. One might say it could be the 21st Wonder of the World. 21st you ask? Well, let's be fair. I'm sure there are a good number of other "Wonders" that would be more "Wonderous" than my "Wonder." I mean, on a scale of "Wonderocity," my "Wonder" has only a certain amount of "Wonderousness" that even justifies it as being in a state of "Wonderment." So, conclusion: Andrew's mind and thinking process...Wonder #21.

A Dancing Weekend

Okay, so along with the actors mentioned the other day, I also met Ernie Banks. He played shortstop for the Chicago Cubs from 1953-1971. He is the coolest and sweetest guy ever. He talks to everyone and is really inquisitive, funny, and nice. His smile is very contageous. That was such a treat. So, now my exhaustion from those long days are over. Onto my next adventure.

One in particular I would like to mention here. I am dancing in a show that my friend Mark is putting on at his house in Brooklyn, which has a perfomance space in it (trust me, a big space). There are five pieces being dance, modern dance mostly, and then it will be a party afterwords. A very cool DJ I've been told will be up on the roof which has been decked out and ready to rock, so lots of dancing and hanging out. And, like always, you will be hanging with me (assuming you're cool, and all hotness rules apply as mentioned multiple times in other postings).

Sorry it's late notice, but I'd love if people come. Here's the info...

*The party is BYOB and we will have ice chests on the roof. There is a liquor warehouse on the corner that is open til midnight.

Oh yeah, I'm a priest in the dance. Come and get your sins forgiven...or at least see a super hot priest dance in front of you, and let that image haunt your dreams forever.

Short and Sweetness

Short and Sweet. Mostly due to the fact that I've had like 3 hours of sleep in the last three days. I've been working background (I know...glamerous, right) on a film entitled Diminished Capacity, directed by Terry Kinney. Here's the actual cool part. I've been on set with Matthew Broderick, Virginia Madsen, Alan Alda, Bobby Cannavale (briefly), and Jimmy Bennett (who is really funny). Pretty cool, huh! Oh, and the sleep part is also due to the fact that I've been rehearsing a dance piece with a friend of mine that we are performing this Saturday night in Brooklyn. More details on that tomorrow. I'd love people to come. The piece is way cool, and then there's drinks, dancing, and generaly hanging out with me (which is the big seller). It's a good chance to see me do a little dancing and just see me. Oh, and I'll be dancing as a priest in a priest costume. Definately awesome. Okay, sleep is much needed so I can rock out on set and in rehearsals tomorrow. Nighty night, and bless you child (just preparing for Saturday night)!

A feeble attempt to amuse and blow your mind

"Strange, when I offered myself to her she showed a little reluctance." A phrase you will never hear me say...hopefully. I was just listening to "Sweeney Todd," hence the reference. Some people think that when you put your iTunes on random, it can tell your future. Or at least a little about your personality. Not sure what my song selection means. "Sweet Caroline" the radio dance mix is on now. Hmm...I don't think I believe those iTunes Philosophers...iTunians, if you will.

On a different note, tomorrow is farewell to my old house. We close tomorrow on the real estate deal or whatever, officially. I figure it's worth mentioning. Good times...good times.

Check this out, "2/3 of a Promotion is Motion." Oh yeah. Did I just blow your mind? I think I just did.

You know what else will blow your mind? ...Me...!

Just had to throw that in there, don't really know what it means, but pretty sure it's true.

Clearly I have nothing of importance to write about right at the moment. Well, I guess that's not true, because we all know that whatever I say and do (or write) is clearly momunentally important on a gigantuan scale of importance. So I will endeavor to entertain you even if only briefly. Without further adew...I will attempt to juggle 3 plastic knives and a shaving razor whilst wearing only A&F boxer briefs, Ugg boots, a single leg warmer, and a cowboy hat that I have lit on fire, while at the same time in between catches of the knives proceed to shave "Andrew is Awesome" into my chest hair. To make it harder I will also duct tape my eyes closed. Picturing this should inevitably amuse you, as I do not own or have access at this very moment to a video camera to show you my attempts. The assumption should be that I succeeded...of course.

Enjoy that lovely picture.

Back to the NY Experience

Well, it's back in New York City. Not sure how I feel about that, since I had a blast in Shoreline, but here I am none the less. Haven't really settled in since I had a photo shoot all day today, which was a blast. More on that another time, let us leave it that I nailed it. Obviously I was sexy in all the photos and I'm sure they wow the world when they are edited and what not.

I must also say that I rocked the waterski world a couple days ago on Lake Washington. Oh yes, perfect conditions, beautiful day, awesome skiing. Then a little gym action (obviously preparatory for photo day), and off to the golf course for a little bit of sucking golf style. Oh yes, not my finest. I freely mention that. I must also go back a step and say that since the Suburban was quickly and abrubtly put out of commission, my sister's Explorer (previous owner: me) hauled the boat well.

Quick shout out to Shoreline and my peeps there. Quick apology for those that were not able to be blessed by my presence.

Exhaustion is overwhelming me just a little bit, so I will end your "reading experience" (one might say your "reading extravaganza," or "reading spectacular," or...well, you get the point) here. For your benifit, I have also included "unnecessary quotation marks" on the first "reading experience" phrase. I feel it "adds" to the "experience" that you are "experiencing." Please "experience" your "experience" in a uniquely "experiencial" way "experiencially."
