So, tonight I decided to make my weekend less boring. I went on a walk before the Tony Awards start. Before you say anything, walks are awesome. I love taking long summer walks when it's nice weather out. It's a great way to enjoy the city and have some time to clear the head. Either alone or with company (which I highly enjoy), walks in the summer are fantastic. Favorite neighborhoods are Tribeca, Battery Park City, Central Park, South Street Seaport, Meatpacking District, and Little Italy.
Okay, last night I walked down to Battery Park City, to the Esplanade. It was outstandingly lovely to be by the water. Anyone who knows me knows that I love being by or on a boat on the water. Growing up in Seattle with out ski boat was such a joy. I always feel so at home on a lake or ocean or river or kiddy pool.
Sitting last night on a bench out on the Esplanade watching the sunset was so nice. Yes, I know it sounds like a romantic thing to do with a girl, which would be correct, however it was less romantic and more just relaxing. A little time for my thoughts (yes plural...I do have multiple thoughts sometimes).
Okay, so the real point of the title of this entry. I took a brief moment upon entering Battery Park City by these lovely little grassy parks and fountains and things, and leaned on the railing looking out over the Hudson to watch the boats and just check things out. I should preface, that I was wearing some of my sexy hiking shorts (yes they were short, but that's just how I roll), flip flops, and a polo (I know...preppy...but trendy-sexy preppy...think Polo Rugby). So, a very nice gentleman passing by merely publically commented directly to my that I have very nice legs. I know what you are thinking...yeah, getting hit on. It was very harmless. He was merely a brief admirer of my nice legs. He made the commented and went on his way. No actual "hitting on" if you will.
So, there you have it. My legs are officially and publically considered "nice." Thank you very much, public and/or private viewings are available upon request. Requests will be screened based on hotness. That is all.
