Anti-Samson Effect
Most people know about the story of Samson from the Bible. You know, the one where the Philistine leaders arrested him and cut his hair, the secret of his strength. Well, I got my haircut today at the Chelsea Barbers, which by the way is a great place. Pricier than Supercuts, less than a salon, and they'll use real razors to touch up the neck area or if you wanted you could get a full shave. Although I've never done the whole real razor thing because it's a bit scary, especially if you've seen Sweeney Todd, but it was pretty sweet. And the wrap your head in a hot cloth at the end for a couple of seconds to clean you up and invigorate you. But I digress from comparing myself to the Bible. I feel like I have a renewed spirit. I am going to embark on a new direction in my life. Eat better, work out more, actually go to ballet and yoga, find some monologues, get a job, you know, the works. So with the loss of my hair I hope to find strength unlike my friend Samson, and I would like my outcome to be a bit better, and not death as his was.
