Back to the 80's

Worked some background on a film called We Own the Night today. Joaquin Phoenix was actually briefly there for one of the shots. Long day, set in 1988, which means costumes from the 80's. I'm a bit young to have really understood fully the fashion from the 80's, but you can check out my costume from the picture above to see what I would have looked like if I went out to a club dressed a bit in the styling of Miami Vice. Quite tiring, but good fun in the end. The director was pretty cool, trying to give us motivation during the dance scene. As he put it, the club we were dancing at was the "hottest f**king club on earth, and we want to f**k everyone in there." Dude rocks. That's the type of motivation I like to hear. Keep it simple. Another day's work checked off.
